Kidscentive collects information in order to serve our
program Members and online users better. This information
allows Kidscentive to provide better information and services,
including discounts and commerce opportunities, and to
create a valuable community. Kidscentive will use the information
we collect to provide you with valuable services.
1. The Information We Gather Registration Information -- To
process your application for a Kidscentive membership,
or to register your Kidscentive membership online, we require
users to give us contact information (name, address and
e-mail), demographic information (like their province/state,postal/
zip code, gender). Payment information is NOT captured by
Kidscentive. We outsource this process to payment gateways
such as Paypal, Admeris.ca or Interac. We may share certain
of your information with third parties who issue or manufacture
the Kidscentive membership cards as needed. We also use
your contact info to send you information about our company,
exclusive promotions, rebates and rewards from our partners,
to notify you about sweepstakes or contests, and to contact
you when necessary. You may opt out of receiving future
communications; see the choice/opt-out section below.
Transaction Information - We may continually gather data
concerning your transactions with us, our partners or others.
This information may include your Kidscentive Card usage
and other information. We use this data to provide you
with better information, discounts and other offerings
across our network of partners, sponsors and merchants.
Polls -- Polls ask visitors for contact information (e-mail
address). We use contact data from our polls/surveys to
send users confirmation of having successfully submitted
the survey, information about our company and promotional
material on behalf of our partners. The customer's contact
information is also used to contact the visitor when necessary.
Users may opt-out of receiving future communications; see

Contests/Promotions -- We run contests in which we ask
visitors for contact information (like their e-mail address).
We use contact data from our contests to send users confirmation
of having successfully entered the contest, to notify the
winners of contests, and send information about our company

Prospect Information -- Kidscentive also collects prospect
information from our users. Our users may provide another
person's information, such as their friend's e-mail address,
in order to send them content or offerings from our partners
and sponsors. The prospect's information is only used for
the purpose for which it was submitted. This prospect information
will never be shared with third party advertisers. We will
never sell or release the prospect information to anyone,
except when required by law. Prospects may opt-out of receiving

IP
Address – We may track your IP address to help
diagnose problems with our server, and to administer our
Web site. Your IP address is used to help identify and
gather broad demographic information.
Cookies – A cookie is a small text file that is stored
on a user’s computer for record-keeping purposes.
Kidscentive uses cookies. We do not use cookies to retrieve
personal information from your computer. The cookie we
give you stores your user id and tells us whether you've
logged in or not. We need to know who you are so we can
do things like show you your personal e-mail instead of
showing you somebody else's. If you have your browser set
to not accept cookies, then you will still be able to use
and navigate our site but some areas will be limited. We
may also use cookies to track the performance of promotions
and offerings within our websites.

2. How We Use and Disclose Your Information We use your information to:
provide us with a point of contact for communicating
to provide the benefits of the program
to deliver
personalized services, content, discounts and advertisements
to enhance your experience with us. For example, we
may send you an e-mail with a special offer or discount
from one of our partners or participating sponsors
on traveling with kids because you selected "travel" as
an area of interest under your personal profile when
you registered for a Kidscentive membership.
Some click-stream data is also captured to determine
the popularity of vendors, offers and site features with
our audience, allowing us to develop a better service.
Kidscentive only shares aggregated data to third party
vendors, but it will not disclose information specific
to any user or company, including email address. This information
represents a generic overview of our users' collective
habits and allows vendors to modify their offers based
on this data.
We do not provide your personally identifiable information
to third parties or mass marketers without your consent.
For example, we will not provide another company your name
or e-mail address without your consent. Unless you consent
to the disclosure of your personally identifiable information,
only we, our technical consultants, third party auditors
and other third parties who make our site available, enhance
its functionality, or provide associated services and/or
who deal with you in delivering content, samples, products,
and gifts and prizes, have access to this information,
and we require them to agree that they are covered by this

We reserve the right, without disclosing your personally
identifiable information to third parties, to use the information
you provide to offer you additional Kidscentive or partner
products and services that we think will be of interest
to you based on the selections you have made in your personal
online Kidscentive profile. If you respond to such an offer

and/or that is collected by such third party and we are
not responsible for that party's use of your information.
In addition, on occasion, we may ask for your consent to
share particular data with a third party. This is always
at your option and is not required.
You have the option to subscribe to receive various e-mails,
mail and/or mobile phone updates when you register for
a Kidscentive membership. We will use these updates to
provide you with additional discounts, special offers,
site upgrades, new features, events, promotions, and much
more. You have the option to opt out of receiving communications
by changing the preferences in your account.
3. Choice/Opt-out You have the option to sign up
for free e-mail updates and/or mobile phone messages when
you apply for and during your Kidscentive membership. You
will also have the option to opt out of receiving any updates.
The e-mail opt-out messaging will appear in every e-mail
that is sent out to you. You can also easily opt-out
of both email and mobile phone communications by changing
your account preferences online through your personal account
pages.
4. Improper Conduct The restrictions above will not apply in the event that
you engage in certain improper conduct. Specifically,
Kidscentive shall have the right to itself use or release
to third parties personally identifiable information
regarding users who are suspected of having used any
site or any other service in Kidscentive for any fraudulent
purposes or having otherwise violated any law, rule or
regulation or the rights of third parties or having engaged
in any conduct which Kidscentive deems improper. By using
any service in Kidscentive, you are agreeing to our use
or release of any information you provide in any manner
we deem appropriate or necessary if you are suspected
of having engaged in any conduct which Kidscentive deems
improper.
5. Security This site has security measures
in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of
the information under our control. We make a diligent effort
to ensure that commerce transactions are operated through
a secure server process (SSL). SSL encrypts all of your
personal information, including credit card number, name,
and address, to protect the information as it travels over
the Internet. We also take contractual, administrative

All Kidscentive staff who acquire confidential or proprietary
information belonging to Kidscentive or its users, such
information will be handled in confidence and may not be

that you transmit via our online services.
6. Your Consent By using any web site or other services of Kidscentive,
you consent to the collection, use, and storage of your
personal and non-personal information as described above.
You also authorize the export of personal information
and its storage and use as specified above when you provide
such information to us. Our headquarters are located
in Canada, in Kirkland, Quebec. This policy and our legal
obligations are subject to the laws of the province of
Quebec and Canada, regardless of the location of any
user. Any claims or complaints must be filed in Canada
in the province of Quebec.
